The ground is covered with a thick blanket of snow and all the tree branches are white and glistening. We, on the other hand, are merely shivering. Guess whose furnace decided to conk out on a major holiday? So far, we seem to have discovered that our "24-hour-a-day, 365 days a year" service contract is somewhat overstated.
