Dusty & I liked Curious George, too. Finally, a movie that was truly made for kids, not their babysitters!

Youve got daffodils and pussywillows? I am so envious. When did you start calling AJs father the husband instead of my husband? Is there something youre not telling us, only intimating?

Well, I will have daffodils eventually. Right now they're little green spears buried under the snow. The pussywillow is pretty fabulous, though. It's always the first thing to go. We see the green of the daffodils early, but they take a while to bloom. The crocuses emerge from the ground much later, but usually bloom first. And the tulips almost always get devoured by the deer before we get to see them. I take no responsibility for the tulips. An extreme optimist must have planted them. I'm more practical when it comes to wildlife. As for "my" vs. "the," it has to do with sentence construction. I call him "the" when I'm talking about him in relation to AJ as opposed to me. Anywhere I'd balk at using "my husband" in normal conversation becomes "the husband." In real life I'd use his name, of course. I'm not sure why I feel compelled to do it that way. Perhaps because I find it annoying when people say "my husband this" and "my husband that" all the time, as if the person in question has no independent identity.
