Hey - thanks for pointing me in the direction of that article. It was definitely food for thought - I've been mulling it over. Incidentally, there are artists who have done exactly that - who have taken a picture of a painting, or who have reproduced a painting, and then called it their own. And now some of their work is hanging in the Guggenheim and MOMA.
