It's funny how the smartest kids say the funniest things. And glad to hear about L!

I have a vivid memory of someone asking me how old my mom was and me telling them "Oh, about a thousand." Don't worry, it wasn't recently. I must have been about five.

I remember once I was in Scotland to play for a friend's wedding. My parents were there as well and we were staying in a bed and breakfast owned by a couple with a little girl named Emma who was, I think, about three. When she first met my father, after very politely greeting him, she looked him up and down and asked, "How old are you?" He replied with his age, whatever it was at the time. "Oh," she said in a shocked voice, "That's very old. You're nearly dead!"

Well, at least he didn't say 38 or 39 or 70, I guess, said K2 who is feeling every one of her 39 years today! ROTFL!! Is his interest in early American history why you call him Ben Franklin Boy?

God, I love BFB! It's so funny to me how these boys are so into the details of their particular specialties. Like little walking trivia machines. And like the above comment, like a mini Cliff Claven (though hopefully with a better personality).

Oh - yeah, I was in a mood yesterday, fit to be tied, which spilled over into this morning's entry. It was one of those "am I alone here in the universe" days with no emails, communication, even zero mail in the mail box (not even junk!). But, it's all good now. I'll be sure to take a sweater to the Pump it Up party. Thanks for the tip!

Kelley, Ben Franklin Boy got his name from the conversation described in This entry: http://harri3tspy.diaryland.com/060528_36.html And I agree, Cliff Clavin with a better personality pretty much sums it up.
