I noticed the cicadas' return too the other day. I even made a "note to self" to mention it. You beat me to it. There's really no better sound. It is now summer.

I caught that Robert Sullivan interview, too. I've been a fan of his since his Meadowlands book. Yes - his kids were quite amazing --

I heard that interview as well - those kids were wonderful. Re: Springsteen - I'm not a huge fan of his but if his Seeger recordings bring more people to folk music, that's great!
