Ah, kindergarten. So many possibilities, especially with a brand new box of pencil crayons and pristine white notebooks. I have never sung Bolcom's Cabaret Songs, although I did buy a copy once which I promptly gave to the library. They are simply too low for me. One of the CDs Bill and Joan loaded us down with before we left was their most recent recording of them, though. We had the LP of the premiere recording done at the Kerrytown Concert House when we lived there, back in '84 I think, and we lent it to a friend, Kevin McMillan in fact, and when it was returned it was warped past playability. We have a cassette tape of it, but the original is out of print, never to be rereleased. *sigh*
