I hope you are in for a political sea change, or at least a great-lake change.

I probably cast the sole Democratic vote in my Republican redneck district this morning. They need to know we're out here.

Would you be interested in an exchange of mix CDs? Yours sounds really good to me, and I bet I could hustle up a few things you haven't heard yet.

Julia, I'd love it. I'll email you for your address, although I probably won't get it out before the end of the week -- I need more blank CDs and I'll be stuck at the house tomorrow waiting for carpet installers.

I love that mix--"Invisible Ink" is a great song, especially. And, on another note: I don't think Jules Shear and Aimee Mann were married, but they were together for a while, and had a bad break-up that fueled a lot of her lyrics on "Everything's Different Now." And this has been Aimee Mann corner, with your host, the non-expert Violet. XO and good luck on the political front!

Violet, it appears that you are absolutely correct. I'm not sure where I got the idea that they had been married. Apparently I made it up. That's why you shouldn't trust what you read on the internet, kids!
