Office Party

My husband was complaining that he occasionally misses the camaraderie of office culture. One of the problems with working at home is that theres never any incentive to goof off, seeing as productivity is more directly related to ones ability to pay the bills. Moreover, its kind of hard to figure out when to stop working. The danger is that you end up working all day and night with no vacations. Or that you feel guilty whenever youre not working, which isnt very relaxing.

So weve decided to have an office holiday party tomorrow. Well play lame-ass holiday music and have non-offensive holiday decorations. Well order a pizza and drink cheap wine and heavily spiked egg nog until one of us starts making embarrassing speeches and repeating the same tired jokes we told last year. The nice thing about this party is that if I decide to sleep with one of my co-workers, I dont have to worry about the usual potential post-coital awkwardness.
