We were supposed to be leaving Monday, but noticed Hurricane Frances headed in our general direction and decided to pack in our vacation a day early and leave tomorrow. While we were out enjoying our last day of biking in the hot sunshine, tropical depression Gaston turned on us and seems to be doing his best to cause trouble. Now they�ve called a voluntary evacuation for our area, even though this is still being called a �minimal hurricane.� For the time being, we�re hunkering down here, but will assess the situation in the morning. Never a dull moment. Wish us luck. Here comes the rain.
